Iris Slee studied at the HKU, University of Arts Utrecht. She attended the international  study “Theatre and Education”. After finishing her graduation Production (1999) she worked as a director, teacher and actrice. Iris has been working as a director on a variety of directing projects, especially in theatre. Number of examples: Ubu Roi, Headstate and “We are going to Benidorm”.
Beside that Iris has worked as a drama teacher on several directing project with youth groups of different ages.

Additional to her directing work Iris has mainly worked in theate as an actrice in performances like: Lady Macbeth, Craving Chocolate, The Hunger Artist en Judith.

Since several years she has also added camera Acting to her portfolio, including:  Geert de Groote, Eyewalk and FATAAL. Iris can be seen playing the role of Lotte (mother Sophie) in Fataal.
