Joel has always been active in the music industry. In his 20’s he was rated in pop charts for 3 songs and he was a finalist in the frist ever show of Idols Holland. Being a finalist he had the opportunity to work with some fo Hollands finest musicians. It was a few years later his acting carreer started to pick up. He did several national tours with stage musicals and during that period he joined a new boygroup called All-Music. After that adventure he was cast in the national tour of Hair en many more musicals followed after that.
TV started knocking on his door and he got cast in a new TV series called Start uP, after that he appeared for a season in a cop show called Flikken Rotterdam.

This season Joel plays in a new soap series called Nieuwe Tijden and is the front man for the showband The Recipe as well as in his own band called Performer Collective.
