Sander de Heer

After graduation at the ‘Hogeschool voor de Kunsten’ (Academy of Art) Utrecht in 1982 he started his career as an actor and joined a lot of theatrecompany’s, like: de Theaterunie, Persona, het Amstel Toneel, Huis aan de Amstel, Theater Hofplein, Leftheater, het Thrillertheater, de Komedie Compagnie en Theater Terra.
He played leading roles in several tv-shows and movies.
He was castmember of: Vrienden voor het Leven (awarded best tv-show Televisierring 1990), Jansen…Jansen, Goudkust, Onderweg naar Morgen .
He performed in movies like: Resistance (director: Todd Komarniky) en Razend (director: Dave Schram).
He is known in Holland as a voice-actor/voicetalent.  Main characters are:
Mr. Krabs in SpongeBob, Puss in Boots in Puss in Boots, The Hood in The Thunderbirds, Averell in Lucky Luke, Captain Haddock in Kuifje and Pi in the movie The life of Pi. In 2011 he was awarded with De Zilveren Koe for his voice-acting.
He is an honored narrator of audiobooks like: The Kiterunner en A Thousand Splendid Suns by Khaled Hosseini, 13 Hours and Fever by Deon Meyer, all books by Carlos Ruiz Zafon, Mio, mijn mio, Rasmus en de Landloper en Emil van de Hazelhoeve by Astrid Lindgren en Kikker by Max Velthuis.
